PATIO DO COLEGIO

BRASIL TURISTICO
Pátio do Colégio (School Yard in Portuguese), also written with the archaic spelling Pateo do Collegio, is the name given to the historical Jesuit church and school in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. The name is also used to refer to the square in front of the church. The Pátio do Colégio marks the site were the city was founded in 1554.
In 1953, during the celebrations of the city's 400th anniversary, the area was given back to the Jesuit order. Thanks to their relative simple architecture and the abundance of 19th century iconography, the church was rebuilt and the tower and the school façade were given back their colonial look. The church and tower, in particular, have the sober Mannerist style they had in the 17th century, typical of Jesuit churches of colonial Brazil.

Amish Life

The Amish largely share a Swiss-German ancestry. They meet the criteria of an ethnic group. However, they themselves generally use the term only for members of their faith community, and not as an ethnic designation. Those who choose to affiliate with the church, or young children raised in Amish homes, but too young to yet be church members, are considered to be Amish. Certain Mennonite churches have a high number of people who were formerly from Amish congregations. Although more Amish immigrated to America in the 19th century than during the 18th century, most of today's Amish descend from 18th century immigrants. The latter tended to emphasize tradition to a greater extent, and were perhaps more likely to maintain a separate Amish identity.
There are a number of Amish Mennonite church groups which had never in their history been associated with the Old Order Amish.[
citation needed The former Western Ontario Mennonite Conference (WOMC) was made up almost entirely of former Amish Mennonites who reunited with the Mennonite Church in Canada.[8] Orland Gingerich's book, The Amish of Canada, devotes the vast majority of its pages not to the Beachy or Old Order Amish, but to congregations in the former WOMC.

Traditional transportation is horse and buggy.
On sunday, father can share time with their children and give mothers a needed rest.
Automobiles and self-prepelled equipment are not used in the Amish community.

Amish should feel good lucks because they lived in America, or this kind extream religion would be forced to terrorism by US government, like Islam in oil countries.
Me, don't like the religions which keep old rules always even some belivers want to change. Last chairmand of China have beed said 'walking with times', that means anything would progress with times, don't freeze.
So, Amish maybe would be stopped in the future, who knows Amish would do something illegal, and president force it on the right way.
Freedom of Belif are those controllers want to use it control peoples' brain, and make it own small world, over law. Religion should be part of life, not all. Any religion can lead positive, and also to negative, key point is if the religion's manager or founder permit improvement.
Most of Chinese peoples have no any belifs, but they are working hard, honest, help others. That is because of educations I think.

Mexican Food - Rancho de Corrales

Restaurant - Rancho de Corrales, the Mexican Food built in 1801 by Diego Montoya.
The spawling hacienda was at first a peaceful oasis, surrounded by fruit orchards. But the early tranquillity was shattered when, in 1883, the property was purchased by the Emberto family.
Luis and Louisa Emberto, a glamorous couple of French descent, entertained frequently and lavishly, filling the hacienda with the sound of revelry.
April 30, 1898 was fateful day for Louisa, for on that day Luis made good his threats and mudered his wife, shooting her twice as she ran for her own gun.
Now it was owned and managed by the Romero/Jaraillo families and known as Rancho de Corrales.
This restaurant located on Corrales, NM.
If you have opportunity pass there, don't forget to taste its culture.
