Located between the beautiful villages of Sablet and Vacqueyras, Gigondas is under the famous Dentelles de Montmirail Mounts. Vines there benefit from high altitude which enhances natural acidity, a red clay soil and lots of underground water coming from the highest parts of the mount. This location also permits a good exposure towards the Mistral which dries after a September rain and the good maturity thanks to the white limestone sun reflection.
